Malaga airport third busiest airport in Spain for first quarter 2023

Spain’s airport operator has reported Malaga’s Costa del Sol airport to have received 3.7 million passengers in the from January to March 2023. This represents an 8.7 per cent increase to that of 2019 and 35.4 per cent more than last year. As a result, it is officially Spain’s third busiest airport, exceeding other major tourist destinations such as Palma de Mallorca and Tenerife.
